January 19 1998 SPIN magazine has a Ray Of Light album listening party. Most of the listeners trash the new material.
"Rebel. Maverick. Barrier breaker. Trailblazer. Icon. Activist. Mother. Ally. Stonewall Ambassador. ♥ ♥ ♥ Today we are insanely proud to announce Madonna is a Stonewall Ambassador supporting Stonewall Day + the 50th anniversary of Stonewall!!" This is the message from the Instagram account The Stonewall Inn letting us know the queen of pop will join this amazing Stonewall organization to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stonewall riots, which were a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations by members of the LGBT community against a police raid that took place in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. They are widely considered to constitute the most important event leading to the gay liberation movement and the modern fight for LGBT rights in the United States.
Stonewall (officially Stonewall Equality Limited) is now a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights charity in the United Kingdom. This is now the largest LGBT rights organisation not only in the UK but in Europe, it was formed in 1989 by political activists and others lobbying against section 28 of the Local Government Act. Its founders include Sir Ian McKellen, Lisa Power and Lord Cashman.
According to PrideLifeOfficial, so much magic is coming up in 2019!
The coming year promises to be a #magic one for all of us... So let’s celebrate music with the 2019 calendar, which features cover artworks to all of Madonna’s studio albums Let’s also celebrate love and a cause close to Madonna’s heart, #RaisingMalawi. To do so, we are happy to announce that a portion of this edition’s sales will be donated to support the organization’s amazing work! As a way to thank you for joining forces, Madonna personally signed ten copies of the calendar, which will be randomly given away to some of the first 200 ordered copies.
Happy Holidays and get ready for a brand new party!
Last night Madonna shared a picture with a hashtag #idontsearchifind, which is a song title from a list posted and deleted on November 9th. It could be now taken as the first confirmed song title from the new upcoming album.
With these recent videos from her Instagram, Madonna is letting us know, the final mixing of her upcoming album has been done.
Madonna's manager Guy Oseary has flown to London to meet U2 and Madonna, probably to discuss there their future projects. The queen of pop has shared some memories from the beginning of the new album's creating process on Instagram: "Inspiration for my new Record all started here in Lisbon at Tejo bar with @dinodsantiago @vaniaduarte #fado #morna #funana #magic #music PT @mertalas"
Madonna is teasing her new album once again. Although the queen of pop herself announced, her upcoming album will be released next year, she's making us know the tracks recorded with disco god Mirwais are still a thing: "I'm listening ♫ ♥ #music #Mirwais #magic"
The picture posted was taken during the last weekend in Paris.
Fans following Madonna on daily basis know she has been focused on and committed to her skin line MDNA Skin more than any other projects these days. Attending Jean-Paul Gaultier's Fashion Freak Show, the queen of pop has been interviewed by Women's Wear Daily www.wwd.com and asked about her new music. Unfortunately, the new album is coming in 2019 and not this year as previously suggested.
"Usually what Steven and I do is connected to my music or something artistic that I've done. I wanted to work with him because I wanted to present the skin-care line and the beauty roller as a work of art, not just a gadget.
I've considered this skin-care line to be not gender-specific. I think men like it just as much as women. I would like to create some very specific products for men in the future. I do see that happening ‘cause I know a lot of men like the skin-care line, so that's definitely in the future. In my opinion, it's just sexist to say only women should take care of themselves. Men need to look good, too.
I'm finishing my record, which I'm going to release next year. In between rose mist spray and serums, I'm actually making music. Can't quit my day job."
Madonna has spent her recent days in London, putting final touches to her upcoming album and working around the clock to finish it on time: "What 4 hours of sleep looks like! Working. Hard... These dark circles are for all my fans ♥ #music #magic #comingsoon ♫"
Lauren D'Elia has just arrived to London and Madonna posted this new MDNA Skin advert, shot by Steven Klein, to inform us she was still working on her new music: "Yes, I’m working on my new record... Be patient queens, until then love yourself, love your skin! @stevenkleinstudio #mdnaskin. To watch longer version go to IGTV!"
