Kde jinde bychom čekali na singlu modlitbu za španělské oči než právě ve Španělsku, jemuž Madonna skládá pocty třeba už v hitu La Isla Bonita (1986)? Je to taktéž zřejmě jediná země, kde byl vydán tento unikátní promo-singl v tradičním obalu tamní propagační produkce. Najdeme na něm albovou verzi balady, jejíž původní název byl jen Spanish Eyes, ale která byla záhy přejmenována v souladu s pobožným rázem desky Like A Prayer.

V pochmurném textu zazní i jméno Maravilla, odkazující patrně na Luise Maravillu, flamencového kytaristu, jehož donutila španělská občanská válka v druhé polovině třicátých let odejít do Francie, odkud se vrátil roku 1940.
