Všechny vydané verze zamilované písničky Cherish, třetího singlu z Madonnina čtvrtého řadového alba Like A Prayer, jsou jen různě dlouhé podoby verze albové a mnoho se neliší ani Q-Sound Mix na výběrovém albu The Immaculate Collection (1990). Skutečný remix, který namíchali pánové Hank Shocklee a Phil Castellano, nakonec vydán nebyl. Na singlu tak najdeme alespoň vzácnou raritní b-side, kterou je písnička Supernatural.
Videoklip k písničce, kterou Madonna na své pochmurně laděné album vlastně ani nechtěla - právě pro její přílišný pozitivmus, natočil Herb Ritts, který je i autorem fotky z obalu singlu.
